Kory Watkins rose to fame as a candidate for Governor of Texas with the platform to Free the Weed. He started the Open Carry Cannabis organization which has grown to many chapters where people open carry their rifles, and some even smoke their weed in public. Because this is a truly peaceful protest, they have not had any bad interactions with law enforcement while dong so. He really has done an amazing job in reaching out to people to grow support for legalizing cannabis in Texas.
